Specialty Housings & Accessories
Purpose-built housing configurations for specific applications — from glass-bowl visual monitoring and fast-loop analyser sampling to heated filtration at 200 °C. Plus a complete ancillary range of inlet filters, drain vessels, and gas conditioning accessories.
Low-Pressure Stainless Steel Housings
Cost-effective 316L housings for low-pressure instrument gas
The low-pressure series provides full 316L stainless steel construction at reduced cost by optimising wall thickness for 7 bar maximum working pressure. Ideal for instrument gas distribution, sample panel protection, and atmospheric or low-pressure process applications where the higher pressure rating of the RF-H-110–RF-H-140 range is unnecessary.
Key Features
- Full 316L stainless steel — same corrosion resistance as high-pressure range
- 7 bar rated — cost-optimised for low-pressure service
- ¼″ drain port on all models for condensate removal
- Compatible with all standard element types
- 4 element sizes from RF-P-12032 to RF-P-25178
- Available with glass bowls (RF-HG suffix — see below)
Glass-Bowl Stainless Steel Housings
Pyrex glass bowls for visual monitoring of liquid contamination
Glass-bowl variants replace the standard stainless steel bowl with a Pyrex (borosilicate glass) bowl, enabling direct visual monitoring of collected liquid and particulate. Instantly identify water ingress, oil carryover, or excessive particulate loading without dismantling the filter. Rated to 7 bar, sharing all other specifications with the low-pressure series.
Key Features
- Pyrex (borosilicate glass) bowl — clear visual inspection
- Instant identification of water, oil, or particulate contamination
- Same dimensions and mounting as standard low-pressure housings
- 316L stainless steel head — no compromise on corrosion resistance
- Compatible with all standard element types
- Drain vessels also available with glass bowls (RF-A-DV series)
In-Line Stainless Steel Housings
Compact in-line bodies for high-pressure tubing installations
In-line housings provide a compact, symmetric body for installation directly into tubing runs without a drain or bowl section. Rated to 340 bar on ¼″ models, these are ideal for high-pressure sample lines, analyser inlets, and compact installations where side-entry housings would be impractical.
Key Features
- Symmetric in-line body — installs directly into tubing
- ¼″ models rated to 340 bar — highest in-line pressure rating
- ½″ models rated to 100 bar
- Max 200 °C with standard gaskets
- Compact form factor — minimal panel space
- No drain — liquid passes through to downstream collection
Fast-Loop Stainless Steel Housings
Three-port design for minimal analyser response time
Fast-loop housings add a dedicated ¼″ sample port to the in-line body, enabling a continuous high-velocity bypass past the filter with a low-volume sample takeoff to the analyser. This dramatically reduces gas transport time and analyser response lag — critical in process control applications where seconds count.
Key Features
- Three-port design: inlet, bypass outlet, and ¼″ sample takeoff
- High-velocity bypass minimises gas transport time
- Low-volume sample path reduces analyser dead time
- Same pressure ratings as RF-HIL series (340 / 100 bar)
- Critical for real-time process control applications
- Compact in-line form factor
Heatable Stainless Steel Housings
Externally heated housings for hot gas analysis up to 200 °C
Heatable housings are designed for hot gas sample conditioning — diesel exhaust monitoring, stack gas analysis, and any application where the gas must remain above its dew point through the filtration stage. A bayonet head-to-bowl connection enables element changes in seconds without tools. Available in side-port (S), tie-rod (T), and combined (ST) variants.
Key Features
- Bayonet connection — seconds-fast element change without tools
- External heater jacket maintains gas above dew point
- S-suffix: side ports, T-suffix: tie-rod seal, ST: combined
- Uses S-type (silica-bonded) elements only — rated to 500 °C
- Silicone gaskets for 200 °C continuous service
- 2 bar maximum — designed for atmospheric/low-pressure sampling
Disposable In-Line Filters & Adsorbers
Single-use polymer-body filters for cost-effective point-of-use protection
DIF (Disposable In-line Filter) and DIA (Disposable In-line Adsorber) units provide lightweight, cost-effective filtration and vapour removal at the point of use. Available in nylon or PVDF bodies for chemical compatibility, with push-fit or threaded connections. When the element is exhausted, the entire unit is replaced — no housing to maintain.
Key Features
- DIF: particulate filtration using K-type (corrosion-resistant) elements
- DIF-C suffix: integrated coalescing element variant
- DIA: vapour adsorption using any of 7 adsorbent media types
- Nylon (N suffix) or PVDF (K suffix) body — chemical compatibility
- Push-fit ø6.3/12.7 mm or ¼″ NPT threaded connections
- Entirely disposable — no housing maintenance
