Specialist media targeting moisture, vapours and trace gas contaminants
Our adsorbent media range provides targeted removal of vapours, moisture, and trace gas contaminants from instrument gas and process gas streams. Each media type is formulated for specific contaminant classes — from general-purpose activated carbon and molecular sieves for gas drying to highly specialised hopcalite for carbon monoxide conversion. Available as loose fill (also as refill charges) for adsorber housings; CC, 4A, 13X, SG, MB, PP and HO are also available pre-packed in sealed vapour adsorption cartridges.

- CC — Activated Carbon: oil vapour, odour, and general organic removal
- Molecular Sieve 3A (3 Å): adsorbs water while excluding larger molecules — typical for drying hydrogen, olefins and polar gases (loose fill / refill, on request)
- 4A — Molecular Sieve (4 Å): general drying of gases and liquids by pore-size exclusion
- 13X — Molecular Sieve (approx. 10 Å): moisture + CO₂ + mercaptan removal
- SG — Silica Gel: general-purpose desiccant for bulk moisture removal (pre-drying)
- MB — Mixed Bases: neutralisation of acid gases (H₂S, SO₂, HCl)
- PP — Potassium Permanganate: oxidation of SOx, NOx, and H₂S
- HO — Hopcalite: catalytic conversion of CO to CO₂ at ambient temperature
Vapour Adsorption Cartridges
Pre-packed sealed cartridges for clean, fast adsorbent changes
Vapour adsorption cartridges are pre-packed, sealed units that drop directly into standard filter housings converted with a TP or TS suffix adaptor. Available in six sizes from 6 cc to 415 cc and fillable with any of the seven adsorbent media types. Cartridges eliminate messy loose-fill handling and ensure consistent media packing density for repeatable performance.

Refillable Adsorber Housings
Loose-fill adsorber housings in several sizes — we select the right one for your application
For gas drying and high-capacity adsorption, loose-fill adsorber housings hold considerably more media than a cartridge. We supply refillable stainless steel adsorber housings in several sizes and port connections. The right size depends on gas, flow rate, pressure, temperature, inlet moisture or contaminant load and the service interval you want — so we select the housing individually for your application. Send us your operating data and we will propose a suitable adsorber with the matching media charge. For low-volume duties, standard filter housings with TP/TS suffix accept pre-packed cartridges.

Refill Media Charges
Keep your adsorber running — replacement charges for every media type
Adsorbent media is a consumable: once it is saturated with water or contaminants it has to be regenerated or replaced. Thermal regeneration of molecular sieves needs temperatures of roughly 175–315 °C (depending on type) with a dry purge gas — rarely practical in small installations. Replacing the charge is usually the simpler and safer route. We supply refill charges for all our media types, including Molecular Sieve 3A, in quantities to suit your housing volume. Tell us your housing and media and we will quote the matching refill charge.
